"Hi everyone, We’re really sorry to say we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our European tour planned for March. Unfortunately, circumstances mean that we can’t make it work this time around :( We’ll do our best to make it out to the continent for festival and hope to see some of you there. Love to all of you who have already bought tickets. We’re sorry and want to say thank you as always for all your support.

De Britse band easy life stond op het punt van een gigantische doorbraak in januari 2020, toen ze een tweede plaats behaalde in de fameuze BBC Sound of-poll. En toen kwam er natuurlijk die verdomde pandemie. Daarover klagen wil het vijftal niet doen: op hun tweede album 'MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE...' vertellen ze een verhaal van escapisme; "we vieren wat we hebben, in plaats van 'life sucks' te zeggen", aldus frontman Murray Matravers. Dat resulteert in meer moderne indieliedjes, die vrolijk inspiratie putten uit pop, rock en hiphop. Voor de gelegenheid hebben ze zelfs Kevin Abstract en Benee mee aan boord gekregen om hun muziek naar euforische nieuwe hoogtes te tillen. Easy life stelt z'n nieuwe album voor in de Orangerie van de Botanique op 21 maart 2023.
