Originaire de Chicago, Lifeguard est un jeune trio qui puise son énergie dans l’immédiateté du live et l’effervescence de sa scène locale. Leur son — un mélange tendu de punk, noise rock et sonorités expérimentales — oscille entre chaos contrôlé, rythmes répétitifs et  abrasifs. En juin 2025, Lifeguard publiera son premier album studio, Ripped and Torn, produit par Randy Randall de No Age. Cet opus promet de nouvelles explorations sonores, consolidant leur place au sein de la scène musicale émergente de Chicago. ​
