Le collectif Toverberg est heureux de vous présenter cet événement, avec comme invité·e·s des stars internationales et héros·ïne·s locaux·ales ! Au programme : une soirée de concerts avec la légende Bloodz Boi basée à Pékin, le guitar-hero parisien Détente, l'étoile montante des nuits bruxelloises Moogy Maserati ainsi que les compères nykolaes & Daniël Paul (dj-set).

BLOODZ BOI 

Bloodz Boi is probably one of the most prominent artists in China's underground music scene. A key player in understanding cloud rap, a genre of rap music in which lo-fi, ambient, trap, R&B and the surreal merge. As a producer, he is excellent at recreating a heartfelt atmosphere through textures and sounds that function as a refuge for his lyrics; direct from his heart and sung in Mandarin.

DÉTENTE

Detente (Florian Le Prisé) is a music composer and guitarist based in Paris. He has released an extensive catalog of music under his own name ("Life Is Life" – Slagwerk 2020). He has collaborated with Oklou, Malibu, Dorota Gawęda & Egle Kulbokaite, Jonathan Vinel & Caroline Poggi, Simili Gum and more. He’s one of the curators of the concert series "Musics" in Paris.

MOOGY MASERATI

Moogy Maserati flutters through the Brussels night as a multidisciplinary artist dealing in fantasies, euphoria, love (songs), film scores, field recordings, YouTube bootlegs, comforting melodies, rousing compositions and all the dark nooks and crannies of what club music could be.

NYKOLAES & DANIËL PAUL

nykolaes et Daniël Paul sont deux artistes basés à Bruxelles. En plus de mener un projet musical en collaboration, ils vivent ensemble en collocation. Ainsi, ils ont tout le temps nécessaire pour créer des chansons douces qui combinent des éléments acoustiques et électroniques avec une performance vocale honnête. Ces morceaux « néofolk » réemploient des éléments authentiques et viscéraux pour les transformer en mélodies qui scintillent sans relâche. Attendez-vous à de la pop décalée, de la folk renversante, des textes émouvants écrits aussi bien en néerlandais qu’en anglais.
