EXAG' Records & Botanique'Tamar Aphek combines her love of rock and improvisation to create a sound she calls Jazz & Roll.'
Tamar Aphek is one of the prominent faces of contemporary rock in the Israelirock scene, and has been crowned “Israel’s guitar goddess” (Timeout Tel-Aviv). She first came to prominence as the singer/guitar player for bands, “Carusella”, “Shoshana”, which were both known for turning every venue into a crime scene of volume and ruthless energy. Aphek is also known as a pioneer in the Israeli music scene, thanks to her initiative and production of the “Besides that” festival to be held in nature which included the participation of Israeli and European bands.
YOU SAID STRANGE
Mythomaniacal kings, Mediterranean Sea, Mourning Colours, these are the next topics to be tackled and adorned by the four Normans, who somewhere between psychedelic pop, porto- grunge and shoe gaze, invent their own Summer of Love. A powerful, reverberating and melodic album that draws its inspiration and production from the tryst between Giverny, Oregon, Evreux and New-York.
PHOENICIAN DRIVE
