Slagwerk & Botanique"There’s a haunting aspect to their sound, something almost undefinable – eerie, and bewitching, Snow Strippers aim to unsettle, and standout."
Slagwerk is a label, curator and event organiser founded by Otis Dehaes and based in Brussels. Since 2017, the structure has curated and organised events in numerous venues across Europe and the United States (Beursschouwburg, Recyclart, Market Hotel (New York), Garage Noord (Amsterdam), La Station (Paris)...).
As a label and platform dedicated to the digital arts, Slagwerk operates in the field of contemporary experimental music, and is committed to a strong graphic identity.
SNOW STRIPPERS
Snow strippers is a duo made up of members Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez. They met in Florida in 2018 and started making music together towards the end of 2021, forming Snow Strippers. Now based in Detroit, the duo produces electronic music that they "want to listen to". Graham, who has been making music for a few years, is in charge of production, while Tatiana, who has just started working in the industry, takes care of all the vocals and gives feedback on what her sidekick produces.
The duo dabbles in everything, creating their own visuals, videos and merch, while managing their own label, Nice Bass Bro.
Preferring to stay in their flat creating art from A to Z rather than going outside, the prolific duo are already on their fourth release with the 'Night Killaz Vol. 1' EP, preceded by 3 albums. Their spirited productions combine the ethereal elements of witch house with new rave and shoegaze sounds, positioning them as one of the leading figures on the current Detroit scene.
FAKETHIAS
Relentlessly discordant, Fakethias' music has long been characterized by its melancholy, anthems tailored for raves, and pulverizing momentums.
On his self-released 2023 debut, Core Echo, the DJ combines his sensibilities with airy shoegaze melodies and singer-songwriter affinities. The Norwegian artist is an influential figure on the underground scene and co-directs the MASSIVE GAIN label and audiovisual project alongside Onleash (aka Drippin).
ANGELITA
As a Philippine-British multidisciplinary artist, Angelita focuses on bringing emotion to the dance floor by exploring globally recognized original tracks, creating emotional climaxes. With an inter-genre blend including global bass, techno, dembow, baile funk, and reggaeton, Angelita has shared the stage with a variety of well-known artists such as Shygirl, Mura Masa, VTSS, and Skin On Skin.
FAUSSE SCEPTIQUE
Club classics meets Soundcloud niche. Fausse Sceptique, who started going out very early in life, uses her knowledge and experience in nightlife to come up with hybrid, playful and transcendent sets, mixing deconstructed club music, jersey, dubstep, rnb, trap and electroclash.
OTIS
Defying all conventions, Otis explores the multiple facets of nightlife. Traversing sonic dimensions with humor and instinct, few are as bold in their selections as him. He seamlessly strings songs together amidst surprising disruptions: genres are exploited and transgressed, swiftly transitioning from avant-pop to vocal oddity to pounding rhythms.
This flair is firmly rooted in his role as the founder of Slagwerk, a Brussels-based label known for its events. Since its inception in 2017, Slagwerk has emerged as one of the most consistent and versatile sources of contemporary electronic music, with releases from artists such as ssaliva, 0comeups, and Bby Eco.
