‘Maison Maquis’ is Sages comme des sauvages' new album. These live performers have toured the length and breadth of France, winning over a loyal and convinced audience. Sages comme des sauvages is a Franco-American-Greek-Corso-Brussels duo made up of Ava Carrère and Ismaël Colombani.

Their third album was co-produced by Dakou, a virtuoso of Afro-Cuban electro rhythms and a member of the duos Tschegue and The YD. Other guest stars include Sofiane Saidi, ‘raï 2.0 prince’, the Occitan neo-folk collective San Salvador and the brilliant MPL. 

Sages comme des sauvages are not who you think they are. Since 2015, you've been wrong about them. You thought they were naive, but they're anarchists. You thought they were nice, but they're angry. Out of fashion, in tune with the outskirts, Sages comme des sauvages are forging a place for themselves between the popular and the cool.

Wherever they go, they get whole families up and dancing to political or poetic songs, something not everyone can do (especially if you're not dead yet). For them, rebellion is not a posture, it's part of the air they breathe every morning. Sharing it wholeheartedly with their audience is vital. Not only are you likely to be moved by their music, but it's possible that their concert will suddenly turn into a one-couple-show. The two of them have a lot to say, and giving them a platform is not without risk. Expect the unexpected.

AN PIERLE ET LA LUMIERE

A master of pop that is as meticulous as it is adventurous, An Pierlé has never stopped reinventing herself since she was discovered in 1999 with her Mud Stories. Her cover of Dutronc, her soundtrack to Jaco Van Dormael's Tout Nouveau Testament, her musical direction of Fabrice Murgia's show about Sylvia Plath: la Gantoise no longer has to prove her Francophilia. Now she's going one step further with a brand new repertoire, 100% in French, arranged for the occasion by Gil Mortio (Valley of Love, Joy As a Toy). Joining her on stage are Nina Kortekaas (Eefje De Visser) Vitja Pauwels (Naima Joris), Gil Mortio (Joy As A Toy) and Joao Lobo.
