RORCAL

Since its formation in 2006, the Swiss group Rorcal has always dedicated its existence to the search for darkness. The means of achieving them have been multiple but share one constant: a total form of sonic extremism. From the insane heaviness of their beginnings to the blast beats to the sick dissonance of their latest albums, their vision of doom, black metal, industrial sounds, drones or harsh noise, has always highlighted the strong and unique identity of the group.

After 5 albums and numerous collaborative splits, the band released “Silence” in September 2023, a work with which the 5 musicians once again prove their constant dedication to the darkest sounds.

ABRAHAM

Active since the beginning of the last decade, the group Abraham offers a mixture of post-hardcore and sludge which has earned it the reputation of spearheading the Swiss metal scene. In 2018, they released their four-disc concept album, “Look, Here Comes The Dark!” » of which each section (disc) is defined by its own approach in terms of style, writing and instrumentation. Following this release, lead singer Renzo and guitarist Mat left the group. Drummer Dave takes his place behind the microphone, and the former guitarist of the Swiss group Kruger, Steven Margo, joins the troupe.

With this new formation, they released the album “Débris de Mondes Perdus” in 2022, against the backdrop of Scorched Earth, “where the last vestiges of humanity desperately try to survive and feel the need to stick together despite death who lurks on every street corner.
