Hailing from Massachusetts, Rich Amiri grew up infatuated with the sophistication of 2010s Atlanta Trap (Future, Lil Keed, and Young Thug), and the dark melodic cloud rap-infused soundscapes of the SoundCloud era popularized by Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert and Trippie Redd. A true DIY artist who carved out his own lane within Hip-Hop, Rich Amiri produced his first song when he was a still sophomore in high school and started uploading bedroom recordings to SoundCloud in 2020 – quickly catching the attention of industry mainstays.

Working alongside Taz Taylor and Internet Money, Rich Amiri made waves with projects like 2022's For the Better, which boasted features from SSGKOBE and Summrs, and Evolution, which contained production from Internet Money, a guest appearance from Lil Tecca on “Poppin” (20M Streams), and found Sheesh Media hail Rich Amiri as an artist who “will be the next superstar to come out of the underground”.

Living up to that statement, Rich Amiri has seamlessly switched lanes with grace, as evidenced by some of the highlights from his 2022 EP Chase – where tracks like “J10” are low-key and sensitive, while “Never Fail” allows him room to rage, showing off his many sides in quick succession. After signing a joint venture with Internet Money and independent label 10K, 2023 was a massive year for Rich Amiri, who scored his first breakout with the viral hit “ONE CALL” (325M Streams) from the atmospheric trap-infused project Ghetto Fabulous.

“ONE CALL” marks Amiri’s first entry in the Billboard Hot 100, largely bolstered by the song’s popularity on TikTok, where it's been used in over 350,000 clips. Fresh off a stint opening for Lil Tecca, a trip to New York for Fashion Week, and a high-energy performance at Rolling Loud California, Amirirecently released “MADONNA & RIHANNA” (10M+ Streams) and wrapped his first international headlining tour in May. With his new single “OUT MY MIND,” Rich Amiri is keeping his momentum going while remaining hungry to prove his longevity as a forward-thinking artist.
