Growing up in a small town in Switzerland, Lou Savary and Luc Bersier naturally bumped into each other and decided to make music together six years ago, with no specific goal in mind. They released a first cassette, Enigme, on Berlin-based label Kinship in 2018, followed by their debut album Leviosa on Amsterdam’s Knekelhuis in 2021.

In the studio, they compose together as a real duo, although Luc tends to take on more of a producer role while Lou focuses on vocals and lyrics. Lou and Luc tell intimate, melancholic stories, revealing themselves in a music scene often disconnected from emotions. Blending elements of psychedelic minimal wave, rolling bass, infectious guitar and not-so-naive vocals, their music tells stories that conjure up landscapes and feelings in the listener’s mind.

ALMOND BUTYL

Armand Bultheel se mue en Almond Butyl et sort le 15 mars un second LP, “Natural Idol”, sur son jeune label Illogique Musique et sur le label White Garden. Moitié d’Agar Agar, Armand Bultheel produit aussi en solo depuis plusieurs années des morceaux de musique électronique.

Avec deux EP sous l’alias Basic Human, un LP sous son propre nom ou des minis pressages k7 plus confidentiels, iel explore et expérimente la musique dance, l’électronica ou l'ambient, muni·e de ses synthétiseurs analogiques.

3 ans après une série de berceuses adressées aux ordinateurs, iel revient donc avec un second LP "Natural Idol", comme une ode étrange et mélancolique à la nature et aux êtres qui la font vivre. Résolument plus dansant, ce projet est aussi composé de voix de synthèse, interprétées en concert par la voix transformée d'Armand.
