PREDATORY VOID
When Oathbreaker went on hiatus a couple of years ago, guitarist Lennart Bossu found himself lacking an outlet for some of his musical ideas. That’s why he started Predatory Void with friends of his with a past and/or present in a number of celebrated heavy bands, like Aborted, Carnation, Amenra and Cross Bringer.
Their sonic adventurousness and the diverse vocal delivery from Lina R. make it impossible to pigeonhole the band, but their sound roughly exists in the same realms as other current, left of the dial bands like Thou, Alcest, King Woman and Liturgy, and at times even sets a mood reminiscent of Swans or cult funeral doom band Disembowelment.
Predatory Void’s first full length album offers an unrelenting glimpse into their universe, that’s brimming with unspeakable horrors. It will be out in May 2023.

HIPPOTRAKTOR
The power of music to conjure up images in the mind is as fascinating as it is undeniable —arguably, it is the very aspect of music that keeps us intrigued. Music, above all, makes us feel and experience things that are normally outside the scope of our ordinary lives.
With their debut album Meridian, Belgian progressive- / post-metal outfit Hippotraktor explore these characteristics to the fullest, creating an expression of the Sublime that reaches beyond the mere conjuring of images into the realm of high art and philosophy. Taking notes from the best moments in contemporary progressive and post metal, Hippotraktor capture the awe-inspiring power of nature — from the delicacy of the first falling leaf to the massive cosmic energy of the sun. By combining the big, catchy riffs and the rhythmical prowess of Gojira with the relentless but equally groove-loaded complexity of Meshuggah, Meridian delivers an overwhelming experience of sound, presenting the listener with sentiments that are recognisable, but with an intensity that seems larger-than-life.

DEATH ENGINE
