NOANNAOS PRESENTS: DUSHIME (RELEASE SHOW) + ASHLEY MORGAN

The Noannaos (understand: no-one-knows) collective and label is back at the Botanique for a double bill that promises to push back the boundaries of sonic experimentation! Dushime and Ashley Morgan performed at the Nuits Botanique 2021, but have also benefited from residencies at the Botanique, each in their own avant-garde musical genre.

Today, Dushime continues to explore multidisciplinary by blending music, narration and performance. Powerful and authentic, her voice is a versatile instrument that reveals itself to people under different textures, embracing harmonious sounds and fluid movements.

The release of her single “Dreams” (2023) has already set the tone: the Belgian- Rwandan artist’s productions are veritable portals leading to spaces full of history, authenticity and soul-soothing sounds. The lucky ones will have attended her concert at Fifty Lab last November, so the Botanique is the place to be to celebrate her next release.

ASHLEY MORGAN

Co-founder of Noannaos alongside Pippin and Susobrino, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ashley Morgan is still shaking up hip-hop standards. Formerly known as LTGL, the Hasselt-born rapper has performed at some of Belgium's biggest festivals (Pukkelpop, Dour and Horst), and has even taken his act abroad.

Since his debut EP “LETGOLETGOLETGO” (2019) and other episodic singles, the Belgian artist is kicking off 2024 with a bang with a brand new single called 'Guilty'. The track was selected for the final of Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting music competition. The ultimate proof that his DIY style, with its original instrumentation and experimentation in sound, works.
