Botanique
Jente Waerzeggers is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist who works with photo, video, sound and text. He runs the music magazine Not So Difficult and, together with Victor De Roo, forms the band De Nooit Moede. In the Museum du Botanique, as part of the exhibition A Voyage into the Moon, he will be giving his first solo performance. For this, he will be reinterpreting field recordings made by Cédric Noël and Mira Sanders in Japan. With both analogue (think tape recorders and sound boxes) and digital tools, he builds impressive drone and noise collages. Multi-layered, they form a new and special audio work that will temporarily fill the exhibition with an entirely different sound.

Issu·e·s principalement de formations belges, les performeur·euse·s vous proposeront des sets acoustiques de 30 min. Nous vous invitons à vous promener dans l'exposition, à regarder les oeuvres, tout en écoutant.
