LARYSSA KIM (LIVESTREAM)

Laryssa Kim is an Italo-Congolese artist living in Brussels since 2013. At a young age she started making reggae in Rome with DJs and bands, then went to Amsterdam to study theatre and dance and obtained a master's degree in acoustic music composition in Mons. Since 2015 she has been making music under her own name, combining her earlier influences with soul and black music. Kim's performances never cease to amaze with live electronics and enchanting vocals. She got picked up by none other than renowned producer Nkisi, who invited her for a concert at Vooruit and on her monthly radio show at NTS. Laryssa Kim’s first ep 'Lov'em all' was released at the end of 2019.

The summer is going to be busy at Botanique ! 16 bands and artists who would have played in our venues this spring or autumn will have the opportunity to rehearse on a large stage for three days as part of the artists in residence summer programme. At the end of their residence, they will play an exclusive concert that will be broadcast live on our Facebook and Youtube pages. It may not fully give you the feeling of a live performance, but this is the best we can do for now! Please make a contribution if you can; all the money will go to the artists.
