By releasing his debut track "Aubade" in 2020 at the age of 15, Kanii quickly established himself as a future musical talent. Influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson, Brent Faiyaz, XXXTentacion and Juice Wrld, the Washington native quickly rose through the ranks, to the point where he was signed by Warner two years later.

This marked a turning point in his budding career, when he took a seven-month break to refocus and develop the musical form that now makes up his discography. His first single for the legendary label, "I Know", was a huge success, becoming a phenomenon on TikTok and entering the Billboard top 100.

After a busy year in 2023, with the release of two EPs, "Exiit" and "It Was Nice Knowing U", which took his sound into a more dance-oriented realm, the young American is getting ready to take his music to Europe and prove why, at 18, he's one of the future greats.
