HELENA DELAND - AREND DELABIE

Helena Deland is a Montreal-based musician interested in how songs can hold what eludes everyday language. Her music draws on reading and walking around.

She released her first album, Someone New, in 2020 on Luminelle Recordings. It was followed by the release of Hildegard, a collaborative album with fellow Montreal musician Ouri  on section1. “Bright Green Vibrant Gray” is her third single released with Montreal label and longtime collaborators Chivi Chivi, following 2022's “Swimmer” and 2023’s “Spring Bug”. It announces the upcoming release of her second album, Goodbye Summerland, on October 13th, 2023.

In November 2023 and February 2024, Helena will be going on her first world headline tour. She has extensively toured North America and Europe opening for the likes of Weyes Blood, Andy Shauf, Connan Mockasin, Soccer Mommy and Iggy Pop.

AREND DELABIE

A seulement 20 ans, Arend Delabie est un talentueux producteur/auteur-compositeur de Courtrai aux chansons intrigantes. Personne ne sait mieux que lui comment écrire un morceau envoûtant avec une mélodie fraîche, une accroche intelligente ou un break bien placé. Avec son label (Mayway Records), il travaille avec une équipe au savoir-faire nécessaire pour développer au mieux ce talent, et enflamme les scènes flamandes : Arend a déjà ouvert pour The Haunted Youth (CC Harelbeke, try-out Dour), Marble Sounds et Kids With Buns (tous deux au Cactus Music Club) et Mooneye (Charlatan), et chaque fois avec brio !

Il a également fondé un groupe composé d'artistes talentueux, comme Femke Decoene (batterie, ex-Wolker), Sander Huys (basse, ex-EMY) et Brian Bogaert (guitare, également ex-EMY) et Babette Rogiers au synthé.
