Pour Jojo Orme, alias Heartworms, l’album « Glutton For Punishment », prévu pour février 2025, reflète à merveille l'inconfort qui traverse ses compositions. Sur les neuf titres mariant post-punk tranchant avec des touches pop audacieuses, elle y mêle des images de guerre et de souffrance humaine qui la traversent depuis toujours, tout en laissant planer un sentiment dérangeant : celui qu’elle pourrait presque apprécier ce chaos.

Produit par Dan Carey, l’album s’inspire de Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey et LCD Soundsystem sans se laisser enfermer dans un genre ; il défie toutes attentes avec une énergie explosive. Après un passage acclamé au festival Eurosonic en 2023, Heartworms a tourné aux côtés de The Kills, St. Vincent et Jack White, et prépare sa propre tournée en 2025, prêt à enflammer le Royaume-Uni et l'Europe.

Mai Mai Mai is an Audio / Video project made by Toni Cutrone and born in 2012. The heart of Mai Mai Mai's work lies in the intricate fusion of traditional instrumentation and electronic manipulation. By skillfully blending ancient chants and melodies played on instruments like accordion, bouzouki or ney with modular and digital synthesizers and heavy beats, Mai Mai Mai creates a sonic alchemy that bridges the gap between the past and the present.

The rhythms pulsating through Mai Mai Mai's compositions echo the heartbeat of the Mediterranean itself. From the lively beats of traditional folk dances to the hypnotic cadence of ancient rituals, each track is a rhythmic odyssey that invites listeners to embark on a journey through time and space.

The music becomes a vessel, carrying the audience across the shores of diverse cultures and immersing them in the magical aura of the Mediterranean. A "Mediterranean hauntology" which, far from being a simple nostalgic look, noisily awakens those Ghosts it talks about and evokes them to accompany us in everyday life.
