KWAKU ASANTE

Kwaku Asante

London’s Kwaku Asante is more than just the new rising star produced by the city. Where singles ‘Molasses’ and ‘Primrose’ held promise, debut EP ‘Honeycomb’ delivered on the soul singer’s undoubted talent. Asante’s smooth, sultry voice is the perfect guide to let yourself get lost in his world full of soul and funk. The songs’ production sounds like this is an artist who’s at the top of his game after honing his skills for years, not a young talent having his first look in. With lyrics about love and misfortune, Asante’s music is instantly relatable as well. There’s no doubt he's an artist with enormous potential and a bright future ahead.
