FRANÇOIZ BREUT (LIVESTREAM)

Formerly known as Françoiz Brrr, Françoiz Breut broke through after collaborating with the renowned French singer Dominique A and made a name for herself writing subtle, sober and clever chanson songs. She moved to Brussels over a decade ago and met Marc Mélia, who traded Mallorca for the Belgian capital. Mélia himself is an acclaimed musician as well: he released an album on the label of Flavien Berger and played all over Europe (Eurosonic included). Now Françoiz Breut and Marc Mélia have started a collaboration that fuses her silky, slightly melancholic singing with his special, adventurous instrumentation. The results sound very promising.

The summer is going to be busy at Botanique ! 16 bands and artists who would have played in our venues this spring or autumn will have the opportunity to rehearse on a large stage for three days as part of the artists in residence summer programme. At the end of their residence, they will play an exclusive concert that will be broadcast live on our Facebook and Youtube pages. It may not fully give you the feeling of a live performance, but this is the best we can do for now! Please make a contribution if you can; all the money will go to the artists.
