FLYING HORSEMAN
For more than a year, Flying Horseman has been working on new material. The band has worked for the first time with producer Jasper Maekelberg (Faces on TV, Balthazar,...) and together they present a concise and pure album: eight adventurous, uncompromising songs with a deep heart and a broad outlook that alternately sound rousing and introspective, evil and tender, dark and playful.
More than ever, all band members take their place in the spotlight: the powerful, endlessly inventive rhythm section of Mattias Cré and Alfredo Bravo; the conjuring harmony vocals and hallucinogenic synths and guitar sounds of Loesje and Martha Maieu; the inspired vocals and the compelling guitar playing of frontman Bert Dockx.
Live, this unique band guarantees a breathtaking listening experience.

KEL ASSOUF
It seems that the concept of nostalgia is almost as much present in Tuareg culture as in Brazilian culture with its famous saudade. The Tuareg speak of Assouf, that gave its name to the group of Anana ag Haroun. After an innovative trio album released by Glitterbeat Records in 2018 (Black Tenere), resolutely political and full of rage towards the old and new colonial nations, Anana ag Haroun wanted to refocus on what is happening inside of him, be it the Assouf or the feelings of loneliness and the existential questions that arise a man torn from his desert. Alone with his Flying V and a set of amps and effects that confirm the psychedelic spirit of the previous album, the musician explores his inner worlds. The songs, true to the spirit of the Tuareg blues, alternate with instrumental soundscapes inspired by the desert, a very cinematic bias that would gladly remind us of the atmospheres created by Neil Young for Jim Jarmush's Dead Man.
