Emma Ruth Rundle a toujours été une musicienne aux facettes multiples, capable d'abstraction rêveuse (comme on l'entend sur son premier album « Electric Guitar: One »), d'explorations texturales maximalistes (son travail dans Marriages, Red Sparowes, ses collaborations avec Chelsea Wolfe et Thou), et de musique traditionnelle comme les singer-songwriters font à la guitare acoustique (illustrée par Some Heavy Ocean). Mais sur son nouvel album, « Engine of Hell », Rundle se concentre sur un instrument qu'elle a laissé au début de la vingtaine lorsqu'elle a commencé à jouer dans des groupes : le piano. Son plus récent single, « Return », est une pièce envoûtante qui est accompagnée d'une vidéo saisissante et introspective réalisée par Rundle elle-même.

Jo Quail is an internationally acclaimed composer and virtuoso cellist from London, UK. Equally at home on stage solo, with bands – or in collaboration with choir and orchestra – she combines an eloquent mastery of her instrument with innovative looping techniques, to realise her complex, evocative music for audiences worldwide. She began her music studies at an early age, and her work extends to masterclasses and interactive workshops on composition, performance, looping, effects and sound modelling. She has written several pieces specifically intended for a wide combination of instruments, and mixed ability among the players, and performed them with a range of ensembles at home and abroad. She is undoubtedly a solo artist with a cooperative and inclusive mentality.
