DUKE GARWOOD

Duke Garwood, singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist. Born in 1969. First professional recording gig was with the Orb in '91, since then he has released 7 studio albums, and 3 digitally during the lockdown of 2020. He has toured with artists Archie Bronson Outfit, The Duke Spirit, Soledad Brothers Josh T Pearson, Kurt Vile, Wire, the Afghan Whigs, The Gutter Twins , Mark Lanegan Band, and Seasick Steve, he has recorded with The Archie Bronson outfit on their first 4 albums, Savages, (on track Marshall dear), Morcheeba, Edge of the World ,from their latest album, he also appears on Mark Lanegan band Blues Funeral, Phantom Radio Gargoyle, and co wrote 'I am the wolf'.

The 2 albums he recorded with Mark Lanegan , Black Pudding, and With Animals received critical acclaim and achieved sold out tours . The song Burning Seas was used as the theme tune for the 4 seasons of Rocco Schiavonne , Snake Man appeared in Tin Star, and the track Cold Blooded was used in the Netflix show Bloodline. The latest studio album Rogues Gospel is due for release in October on God Unknown Records.

Avec « The Hunter », son dernier single en date, Caspar Auwerkerken réussit encore une fois à sortir un single délicat, mélancolique et rempli d’émotions grâce à des arrangements oniriques et minimalistes. Le jeune homme, en résidence à Het Depot et Muziekgieterij Maastricht commence petit à petit à se faire un nom dans le milieu. La preuve, avec des titres playlistés sur Radio 1 et StuBru. Après avoir réalisé des premières parties pour Strand of Oaks, Portland, Meskerem Mees et The Bony King of Nowhere, Caspar débarque au Botanique. L’occasion de découvrir sa voix si particulière qui rappelle celle de Sophia ou encore celle de Thom Yorke.
