Duckwrth est le projet solo de l’artiste Jared Lee, qui avant de se mettre à la musique a étudié les arts visuels. Il n’a pas fallu longtemps, pour que ce jeune rappeur originaire de la banlieue de Los Angeles devienne une star montante du rap américain. Il signe un premier album « I'm Uugly » pour lequel il se fait remarquer en 2016 suivi de près par le mixtape « XTRA UUGLY ». Devenant ainsi indispensable et tournant dans le monde entier, il ouvre les shows de superstars telles que Billie Eilish ou Anderson .Paak. Il a un style unique qui combine des influences très variées allant du jazz, hip-hop au funk, et passant par le rock punk. Il viendra pour la première fois au Botanique à l’occasion de la sortie de son nouvel album « SuperGood » pour mettre l’ambiance avec des sons qui donnent envie de danser.

Divinely named "GAWD", this duo forged their musical alliance in the middle of a global pandemic and has been making big waves ever since! Since then, GAWD has garnered admiration and support from some of their favorite artists such as Duckwrth (who invited them to open on his “SuperGood” tour at The Roxy in Los Angeles) and Anderson .Paak. + the Free Nationals (with whom they traveled through Europe opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Unlimited Love” tour). With the masterful production of their executive producer, Stanley Randolph, and the influences of Outkast, Donna Summer, and so many other eclectic artists, GAWD relentlessly breaks through sonic and stereotypical boundaries. They stand in celebration of the glorious vastness of Black womanhood while saving the world from patriarchal ruin with a twirl and a smile.GAWD’s path is paved with gold!
