Le punk rock a été le catalyseur qui a rassemblé les membres de Destroy Boys, mais il ne constitue pas le seul fondement de leur musique. Depuis leur premier album jusqu'aux prémices de leur quatrième opus, le groupe continue d’écrire et de chanter sur leurs expériences, captivant un public de plus en plus large.

Les drames scolaires et les cliques élitistes de leur adolescence ont laissé place à des réflexions sur la douleur des relations, ainsi qu’à des sentiments d’incompréhension et d’isolement, des thèmes si courants chez les jeunes évoluant entre un monde physique et numérique. Récemment, le groupe a eu l'opportunité de se produire aux côtés de certaines des légendes du pop-punk, telles que Blink-182 et Pierce The Veil.

Gaffa Tape Sandy 

Formed in 2015 by three friends with a desire to do something loud and exciting, GaffaTape Sandy’s popularityquickly escalated thanks to a series of incendiary live shows and a seemingly endless succession of instantlymemorable garage-punk/rock tunes.

The Brighton/Bury St Edmunds outfit’s brand of giddily frantic, high-octane hyper rock‘n’ roll has already landedthem support slots with acts including IDLES, Peace, Art Brut, Weakened Friends, SuperGlu, Bloody Knees andUK tours supporting Indoor Pets & Skegss.Their debut EP ‘Spring Killing’ lead to them performing at Glastonbury Festival 2017, with their next single‘Beehive’ gaining much support including Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 Tip Of The Week, before being includedin NME’s 100 Essential Acts for 2018.

The past two years have seen them performing all over the UK festival circuit,from Live At Leeds & LiverpoolSoundcity, to Latitude & The Great Escape Festival, as well as a number of international festivals across Iceland& Germany. In 2019 they announced their signing with Alcopop! Records, with their second EP ‘Family Mammal’released in July on vinyl & digital platforms. The first vinyl pressing sold out within a few months, and a secondpressing was produced in mid-2020.

While lockdown has mostly prevented them from gigging, Gaffa Tape Sandy are currently writing towards theirdebut album which we are aiming for a 2022 release.
