Botanique"Psych-pop constructed with a painterly touch, Babe Rainbow seem to thrive on feeling, unhooking themselves from logical realms and embarking on lengthy journeys across turbulent inner oceans."
Babe Rainbow, it’s: summer-surf-hippies-blond hair in the wind --but above all, it's good music. Before becoming musicians, the three founding members of the band (Angus Dowling, Jack Crowther, Elliot O'Reilly - later joined by Miles Myjavec) worked as farmers and are still deeply involved in environmental protection and permaculture. They maintain a close bond with nature and own a shared macadamia nut farm: The Music Farm, where they have already held some exceptional concerts. Mixing folk with psychedelia and sprinkling it all with rock, they make music like gardening: taking their time, nurturing certain songs while letting others evolve freely, and above all, with patience and love.
The band formed in 2014 and released their first single later that year, "Evolution 1964". By 2021, the band had four full-length albums to their credit, as well as an EP. Add to this list their latest album to date, "The Organic Band" (2022). Their EP "Fresh As A Head of Lettuce", due in June 2024, has already turned heads with the release of the single "Super Ego".
