"As an artist I try to expect the unexpected and be flexible but in the case of the Los Angeles wildfires (where I live) I have not been able to work around it. Unfortunately this means I will have to postpone my show at the Botanique, I have waited a long time to come to Brussels and I’m so disappointed I can’t be there at this time. Rest assured when things get back to normal here, me and my team will get to work on when we can come back." - Aluna

Après une première carrière marquante au sein du duo AlunaGeorge, Aluna lance sa carrière solo avec Renaissance en 2020, un album qui souligne les liens entre musique club et communautés afro-diasporiques et queer. Son successeur, MYCELiUM, sorti en 2023, tisse une toile sonore aux productions audacieuses et aux influences variées, mêlant disco, afrobeats, house, dancehall, sonorités caribéennes, UK garage et r&b, imprégnée de l’héritage des artistes de la diaspora africaine, comme Black Coffee ou Frankie Knuckles.
