Alto Fuero presents DIBOELL - Elheist - DJ Nigga Fox - Nosedrip - iced lattina

The duo Alto Fuero are creating a unique concert-performance format for Les Halles and the opening of the Nuits Botanique. Alto Fuero is a French duo currently based in Brussels. Cartoonish sounds and spasmodic rhythms intertwined with haunting traditional folk songs, their trance-inducing music could be considered post-folk.

Alto Fuero is a collaboration between painter, musician and performer Victoria Palacios (elle) and musician and performer Loto Retina (iel). Alto Fuero is music for the body and the front, always on the edge of performance. They invite you into their cavernous club. The walls bounce frenetically with the echoes of flutes, multilingual vocals and twisted basses.

At the invitation of the Halles de Schaerbeek and the Botanique, the duo are forging new relationships with other musicians and other non-human entities in the Grande Halle, teaming up with a scenographer (Juliette Gelli) to create an ecosystem, a porous space in which the public and the artists can breathe together.

Alto Fuero is also working on a debut album to be released on the Stroom label.

ELHEIST

Connue pour fusionner le rap avec la pop et l'électronic industrielle, Elheist est rapidement devenue l’une des artistes féminines britanniques à suivre. Tout autant connue pour ses émissions de radio mensuelles sur NTS que pour sa musique éclectique soutenue par sa personnalité animée et son approche unique, la londonienne est considérée par beaucoup comme une artiste avant-gardiste dans sa démarche.

Née et élevée dans le sud-est de Londres, Elheist s'est intéressée à la musique dès son plus jeune âge. Elle passe son adolescence à perfectionner son art de l’écriture créative et de la production en studio. Après l'université, El rejoint un groupe formé par l'artiste Klein en 2016. Après sa participation à Portia Lewis, elle commence sa carrière solo sous le nom de scène Elheist. En 2017, elle décide de parler d’événements sociétaux à travers son premier single « See how ». Depuis lors, Elheist a joué dans les salles les plus renommées d'Europe, ses morceaux se retrouvent sélectionnés dans les meilleures playlists, sont joués en télévision et au sein de publicités.

DJ NIGGA FOX

DJ Nigga Fox, membre du groupe lisboète Principe Discos, fait ses débuts avec l'EP « O Meu Estilo » en 2013, l’inscrivant dans la scène musicale portugaise comme un artiste avant-gardiste. Son second EP, « Noite E Dia » en 2015, est salué pour son exubérance ; et en 2017, il repousse les limites conceptuelles de sa musique avec un nouvel EP « 15 Barras ». Son premier album complet, « Cartas Na Manga », est le fruit de son accomplissement en tant que compositeur et producteur ne connaissant aucune limite dans l’expérimentation. En février 2022, il a sorti l'EP « Música Da Terra » et a entamé une tournée sur la côte est des États-Unis et au Mexique en mars.

Ziggy Devriendt alias Nosedrip originaire d’Ostende, est le spécialiste en Belgique de la musique ambient.
