Botanique« Des chansons solaires qui ont la peau douce »
When asked to describe his latest record, Alyosha spontaneously responds: “ The Mediterranean sea, in Greece, where I composed and wrote most of the songs on this album…”. Exiled to Athens for six months of filming, Alyosha is far from the one he loves. Close to the sea and the blue sky. Between takes, he composes.
His first album, Eleven Songs, was produced by Samy Osta (La Femme, Feu Chatterton). Alyosha celebrates his folk influences from Dylan to Eliott Smith. Eleven Songs, which received much attention, gained him recognition and gave him his first stage experiences (Fnac Live, Les Inrocks festival, La Boule Noire). He followed this up with a second disc, Naked, where the raw sounds pushed him to lay himself bare, to reveal his darkest sides. In 2020, Alyosha tried a new exercise: he translated one of his pieces into French.
HALEHAN
Alexandre Lambrecht alias Halehan is a singer-songwriter from Brussels. Described in 2017 by Les Inrocks as “The new folk nugget of the flat country”, he has tried, in recent years, all kinds of experiments mixing his folk and electronic tendencies with world music. Alone, with his voice and his instruments, he created a particular universe endowed with a profound simplicity inviting the listener to enter into a collection with him.
