Just when you thought Garage Rock had reached its limits, The Jackets have breathed new life into the genre, propelling it into the future with their own blend of '60s influences, punk attitude, and psychedelia. Hailing from Switzerland, this female-fronted trio has gained worldwide recognition for their electrifying live performances, amassing a large and devoted fan base since their formation in 2008. At the helm is the captivating and enigmatic Jackie Brutsche (aka Jack Torera), a charismatic singer and guitarist who radiates a raw energy. With her distinctive voice, mind-bending fuzz guitar, and unique stage presence, she effortlessly captivates audiences. The rhythm and groove section, consisting of Chris Rosales on drums and Samuel Schmidiger on bass, adds an uncompromising edge, forming a perfect three-piece unit—raw, direct, authentic, and unapologetically fun!

But The Jackets are not just musicians. They're multi-dimensional artists who explore film, theater, visual art,and storytelling, all of which find expression in their artwork, lyrics, and music videos. Their creative pursuits enrich their overall artistic vision, adding depth and complexity to their captivating sound.The Jackets have not only resurrected Garage Rock but have reimagined it for the modern era. With their explosive performances, devoted following, and artistic endeavors, they continue to push boundaries and leave an indelible mark on the music scene. Since 2009,The Jackets have released four full length albums (Vinyland CD),Three vinyl 7” singles,are represented on many compilation albums and worked with several labels like Voodoo Rhythm Records, Chaputa! Records, Soundflat Records and others. In 2017 the band joined forces with producer and musician King Khan (King Khan & The Shrines) who produced their two LP releases which were mixed and mastered byJim Diamond (White Stripes). In 2021 The Jackets formed their own independent label Wild Noise Records.
