CARL DE KEYZER. HIGHER GROUND

Thursday 02.03.17 - Sunday 30.04.17
Museum

This exhibition has been put on with the collaboration of Sluitertijd.

Carl De Keyzer is certainly among our country’s most brilliant photographers. A member of the Magnum agency since 1994, he stands out for the depth of his reportage, often involving long-term projects and combining multiple approaches. His work, regularly published in the international press, has been hailed by critics since he first arrived on the scene.

This year, the Botanique brings together two sequences of photographs inspired by the threat of global warming and the inexorably rising waters, Moments before the Flood and Higher Ground, completed in 2012 and 2016 respectively.
