Sivert Høyem is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and former front man of Madrugada, Norway's most successful rock band ever. Since the band's breakup in 2008 Høyem has enjoyed considerable success on his own, releasing a total of five critically acclaimed, chart topping solo albums. Høyem’s reputation as a hard-hitting, engaging and fervent live performer is indisputable. His dark, velvety and powerful voice takes centre stage in all his work - solo as well as with Madrugada. A Sivert Høyem concert offers an intense journey through a musical career spanning the last 15 years.

These days Høyem is putting the finishing touches to his new album scheduled for release in early February 2016. Germany will get the opportunity for a live sneak peek in December as Høyem joins the ever-popular Katzenjammer as their very special guest on the German dates of their European tour!

A new Høyem song Black & Gold graces the main title sequence of the TV-series Occupied, a political thriller airing on Arte and a dozen other TV-channels this fall. The series is based on an original idea by Jo Nesbø and is the most expensive Norwegian TV-production to date.
